Synopsis
The purpose of this notice is to solicit proposals for a single cooperative agreement between NOAA and an institution of higher learning as authorized in the Ocean and Coastal Mapping Integration Act and the Hydrographic Services Improvement Act. Proposals submitted in response to this announcement should advance the purposes of the Acts by addressing the Program Priorities described in this announcement. A key objective of this opportunity is to advance the nation’s capacity for modern ocean and coastal mapping through the development, integration, and operational transition of innovative technologies and workflows. This program prioritizes the expansion of hydrographic and cartographic data accessibility, interoperability, and usability, while enhancing efficiency across acquisition, processing, and product delivery. This will be a 5-year, multiyear award. The intent is to make a single 5-year award. Total anticipated funding for this award is approximately $8,500,000.00, with approximately $1,600,000.00 to be released in FY 2026 and each subsequent year of the 5 years.
