Isabel A. Milkovich, MA

GRANT STRATEGIST & WRITER

Isabel has provided grant strategy and writing for nearly $65 million awarded government grants and contracts for services, such as workforce development, education, affordable housing, and agriculture. Isabel works with communities and causes to shepherd them through government grant development, program development, and consortium management.

Recently, Isabel has helped government agencies strategize and develop workforce development and career and technical education (CTE) grant proposals worth nearly $2 million across three programs that are currently in implementation.

These programs, two of which supplement Perkins V funding, utilize consortium structures to engage K-14 students in developing tech career paths; provide students with resources and equipment to gain skills and knowledge required for tech careers; and connect students with employers to fill labor gaps for high-skill, high-wage jobs.

Isabel has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Montana State University, a master’s degree in English from the University of Grenoble-Alpes in France, and a certificate in grant writing from Valdosta State University.

Isabel is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) Northwest Chapter, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Central Oregon Chapter, and Central Oregon Nordic Club.
